The NorAm circuit is also the place for emerging North American juniors to gain international exposure and make their mark. This is a unique opportunity to watch the world’s best up close and to cheer for local favorites to move up through the ranks. 12/13-16	Colorado Ski Country Cup Men’s/Women’s Super G (Winter Park Ski Resort) Watch the Rocky Mountain’s top male and female qualifiers battle it out on Winter Park Resort’s high speed Super G course located on the Hughes trail. The giant slalom will take place on Hughes and Normwegian. The event features the region’s top skiers ages fifteen and older as the seek qualification to the U.S. National Championships. 12/24	Lunch with Santa (SolVista Basin) Bring your lunch and visit with Santa from 11:30 to 1pm in the Base Lodge dining hall. Interfaith church services open to the public on the second floor at 4:30 pm with Christmas carols and holiday refreshments.
	Christmas Eve torchlight parade (Winter Park Ski Resort) The Christmas Eve torchlight parade is one of the most beloved Winter Park traditions. The event begins with Christmas carols around the bonfire at the base of Winter Park, next to the Zephyr lift. At 5:30 pm a procession of torch-bearing skiers begin their way down lower Hughes trail, followed by Santa Clause and his helpers. A spectacular fireworks display and snowcats adorned with Christmas colors light up the slopes in a Christmas tree formation to conclude the festivities. For more information call 970.726.1564.

This year’s fifth annual event will feature 50 of the region’s top riders spending their New Year’s Eve in Winter Park to compete for prize money.
